I bought two of the beautiful multi-wood large carving boards. You have to see them to see the great craftsmanship. I also bought 4 nativity sets with the small wooden building that houses some of the carved animals and people used in the nativity scene. They can all be kept in the wooden house for storage. There is a door on the building that can be slid up to close it. I have also purchased a few carved, but sturdy wooden cars and a tractor for a great grandson. What a great experience! We stopped in to look for a Christmas gift for my mom, but somehow walked out with toys for all my children lol. The owner of the shop is so kind, and they showed my family the workshop where they make all the cutting boards. What a wonderful family experience.
What a cool place to stop and visit. If you enjoy seeing and purchasing quality hand crafted items, you will enjoy a stop at this beautiful historic shop located in downtown Leslie, AR. The owners are extremely friendly and their woodworking is fantastic! Their work can be found not only in the store but online and at select festivals, (like the Bean Fest in Mountain View, Arkansas). Beautiful hand made wood pieces and other handmade items. The owners are pleasant and welcoming. Enjoyed looking at the beautiful items and meeting the mayor. This town is the definition of hospitality.
