This complex used to care for the elderly; now, it’s run by a rapacious owner who slashed services while hiking prices. Since 2024, everything has gone downhill: Sky-High Costs: Rent jumped $100–$300/month, plus another $75–$100 now that internet/cable are no longer included. Neglect: Snow removal was cut. Know your rights people! They try everything they can to keep your deposit! My 80 year old Mother put in $8400 worth of flooring in her apartment (with approval) and they still docked her for things like a burnt out light bulb?? Marks on walls? Dust above doorway frames and doors! Pretty sure they don't give anyone their deposit back. Look up the laws on this. This falls under "normal wear and tear" Read your lease.
