Brett was extremely unprofessional when it came to delivering our wedding pictures to us. He responded to me shortly after the wedding and then completely stopped responding all together. It took numerous calls, texts, emails, and threats to sue him from myself and my family members before he delivered our pictures to us 4.5 months after the wedding. I was the best man at a wedding where Brett was the photographer. At the wedding, he seemed great. Friendly, approachable, professional, all good qualities. After the wedding, Brett just disappeared. Voicemail boxes were full, and zero responses to emails. For months. We were checking local hospitals and obituaries because we didn’t even know if he was still alive. My best friends hired Brett as their wedding photographer. I was the maid of honor, and during the wedding, he seemed very professional. Now, he has fallen off the face of the earth and refusing to give them their wedding photos. After multiple attempts trying to get in touch, including going to his office in Reston which is now closed, reaching out to other vendors who may know him, they have found out, he is telling people that all his June weddings have received their pictures. My fiancé and I contacted Brett about covering our wedding — we were very captivated by his photography. After a few really pleasant back-and-forths by email, we got on Facetime and spoke for an hour. Great conversation — on personal and professional level. He walked us through the packages and confirmed his availability. We followed up a few days later to let him know we were interested and to ask a question or two. Simply said, Brett does great work. I don't consider myself a photogenic person, as shown by my google profile pic, but Brett's skills are amazing and he captured a lot of great shots at our wedding that made me look gorgeous, and my wife even more beautiful than she already is, as if that were even possible. He's extremely easy to work with, very professional, and I wouldn't have chosen anyone else to capture our special day. The photos came out great and were very easy to access. I can't recommend Brett highly enough.
