WOW!!! The best fresh strawberries ever. So fun picking our own. Nice folks running the show... (we'll be back next yr)💚🍓💛
Our family had a great experience picking strawberries. It’s not a huge farm - which made it easier to get around. The berries are not sprayed. We’ve been to natural farms before - only to find tons and tons of thistles. But this place was great! A few weeds here and there - but nothing bad at all. Small family-owned and operated farm in the rural Hartford countryside. Beautiful location with a single field to pick from. Small parking lot in front of the house, plus parking on the road if needed. Portable toilet available. Cash or check only, charging $3 per pound this year (expect a heaping flat to run between $33 and $45), which is on par or slightly less expensive than other farms in the area. Berries are small but so sweet and not at all woody (as some of the large varietals can be), with very little pest pressure.
