We came to this business in July 2025, on a week day at 12-30pm. Nearly all the pies were gone. We got a mushroom pie, with nice flaky pastry, and a plain pie which was also very tasty. The custard tart was nice. The apple turnover was ok. The park overlooking the ocean with seating was nice. The toilets are at the very southern end of the town, on the beach side. They close at 2pm.
Chunky curry pie with fat attached and it lacked salt. No mushy peas. Lamination was very nice. No smiles- just getting you in and out for the next in line.
Best Beef & Chilli pie I have ever had
Went to the bakery excited to buy some Rye, dark or other good quality bread, unfortunately was told only white bread. ( quality was no different then from a everyday corner shop) Especially seeing outside on sign with swiss twist? Maybe sprinkling Poppy seed over it was the twist? The sweet baked goods looked nice, but I had the day before lovely cakes in the fish and chips shop ( maybe from the bakery?) I gave 3 stars for the other desserts on display.
