Good hard course with lots of hills and hazards. Playing area is well maintained, cart paths are not. Employees kick you off course when they decide they want to go home for the day.
6:24PM, 42 whole minutes to sundown, and told we could stay out till 7. Hole 16, final round of the season. Guy rides out, yells “were closed!”, then just turns around and drives away… Thanks for ruining the last round of the year guys! Absolutely wont be back next year. GolfNorth has ruined this place into oblivion. I knew i shouldn’t have gone in the first place but found a deal online. No matter the deal avoid this place at all costs. Cart paths remind you of a war zone and the whole course is built on a swamp.
Played Brant Valley today, the design and routing are interesting, will definitely keep you on your toes, I think it's a great piece of ground with good bones. Based on where the course is located I presume they are prone to flooding, conditions were good today but there are parts of the course that can have poor conditions, the cart path is in poor shape, I can forgive that. Benefit of the doubt given to the summer floods. It is a very nice course. Challenging for a novice such as myself, but still fun. Managed my first par on a sweet 30ft putt on hole 6. If anything, and it's been mentioned, fix your golf cart paths!!! How can you ask carts to stay on the path if it's worse than a broken carny roller coaster? Course is pretty rough because of all the water damage but , the people that run it make up for it.
