I have a new level of respect for BRH after a very near death experience last week. I was a walk in at the ER with shortness of breath and mild chest pain. I was immediately taken back for an EKG,within moments I was surrounded by a full staff of cardiac experts and whisked away to the the Cath lab running down the hall with me on a gurney. At registration for Pre-op everyone there was nice and professional. It made the process easier and ready for surgery tomorrow.
Excellent hospital my one year old sliced his finger rushed him in soon as we got in they took us straight to the back as my son was getting his stiches done doctor was talking to him and rubbing him he fell asleep as he was getting 4 stiches in his finger.... favorite hospital so far❤
Just want to bring it to your attention that our family has been asking for a bed for my Mother to be able to sleep in ICU along with my sick Father. She is currently having to sleep in a chair, yes it does recline, but it does not stay reclined either. She has had 2 MAJOR back surgeries in your hospital. We have lived in Brandon since the 80's and always chose your hospital for everyone! 4 hour wait time as it stands right now. My sister has a serious heart condition and we don't have our room yet. I guess someone has to die in the waiting room before they fix staffing issues or tell us up front, "we are very behind, with 1 Doctor" Wouldn't come back even If I was dying

This hospital is always really understaffed but the staff you get is great. I was in the ER, (room 17) from roughly 12p 'til about 420p, on Tues.2/7, and was diagnosed with Mesenteric Adenitis. (TREMENDOUS pain.) I had a fantastic nurse, Tiffany the Traveling Nurse, and I LOVED the Dr. I had...Craig Mitchell. I wish C. Mitchell could be my G.P.
