If I could give a lower rating I would. BY FAR THE WORST HOSPITAL OUT THERE. I have 2 herniated disc in my lower back one hitting sciatic nerve. I went in there on September 19th because my hands were turning blue and I could not feel my legs on and off and I was in severe pain in my back. I came in SCREAMING IN PAIN. My choice of words to describe this place hmmmm "hope this place burns down"......yep that's the best words for this place Because all they care about is the money and not 2 shits about taking care of people, my brother and sister in law both work in the medical field and neither one of them would work at this place if it was the last job in the world. The only reason I am giving them a 1 is because 0 was not an option. This has got to be the worst hospital in the bay area and I would not go to them if my life depended on it! It's worth the extra 15-20 minutes to go to TGH. Refered to the ER last Friday from the walk in. They gave me Hydrocodon and told me to follow up with my primary who refereed me to my neurologist at our 9:45 am appointment to get rid of the migraine that I have had for 15 DAYS! With specific instructions on how to make it happen. And to get a more specific MRI to verify a sighting. Signed in at 12. Took my prescription pain medication at 7am. The ER us a joke I was taken there by EMS and seen no one in the room for more than 3 hours I took off the ekg leads and still noone came in. IO call the hospital main number and hit 4 for ER a charge nurse answer and told her what room I was in and the alerm was going off she stated"The monto r tech is to call the charge nurse and tell them it not our falt" I stated to her you told me you are the charge nmurse see said "I'm bnot the right charge nurse".
