I'm not impressed with Sherbourne Health the past year. The rudeness from some receptionists is appalling. Oftentimes, they are dismissive in the way they talk to people in person and on the phone. I went in recently for a walkin and was told it was for an emergency. On the website, it states the hours they are open and available to Sherbourne Health clients. The receptionist was in a difference of opinion, which is fine, but it just felt like my opinion did not matter.
The reviews here are misleading and at least one is 100% not for the actual organization. This is not a place that provides direct healthcare or is meant to take direct calls from trans people about healthcare, this is an organization for medical professionals. They make helpful resources for the lgbt community and also trainings for doctors, hospitals, schools and healthcare centers that are about transgender and queer people. SHC is spacious and comfortable. The staff is dedicated and personable, and always very professional. I've always received excellent medical care here. Many others in the surrounding communities are accommodated as well, including LGBTQ and Trans people. There's a walk-in clinic conducted on Saturday mornings. —sƒw
