These people are a rip off. I recently inquired about the price for 5 gallons of Sikkens log cabin stain and they wanted $100 a gallon. I checked another supplier and the same product was around $80.00. Also, when we had our house built we ordered windows and doors from them. Several windows had scratches in them, some, between the panes and others on the outside. 3 years ago the gas seal started to leak on some of them and it cost $100 per pane to replace them or look through foggy windows. I have done business with these fine folks for over 30 years. We built our last 2 homes with all of our materials coming from Hiwassee. They are very knowledgeable about their products . We recently had a co-worker involved in a serious accident resulting in a loss of limb at work. Let me just say, these guys were incredible helping us out to get our friend a new deck with a wheelchair ramp in time for his return home. For years if any supplies were needed I went to Lowes out of convenience. Never again. Paint, wood, anything I need in the future my money will exchange to these great people. So Thank you again for all your help. It will never be forgotten.
