I was fired for bringing up a possible child abuse case. I asked them about the possibility of reporting it around 8pm one night, and I was begged to wait until morning so they could discuss it with a certain person. The next morning, that certain person called me and fired me. Another woman later called me to insure I had no confusion about why I was fired, that it was not related to the abuse, that it was my performance.
