I’m a disabled person and your company has taken a position. That is completely hostile to my community. I feel it is my duty to warn each and every person in my community that you don’t represent disabled people and will seek to harm us .

My husband and I have been waiting for months for our payout after we had a fire in our shop. All we ever get from both the company and our insurance agent is “ the cheque is on the way” no other information. I can tell you this… I could have driven to Vancouver and had my cheque within 1 day! We pay mass amounts of money for insuarance monthly and so far we’ve been treated quite poorly with this whole situation. We will be switching as soon as we are able.

I have a motorcycle which I insure with beacon. With that insurance is roadside assistance. The coverage for that includes towing up to $100. This summer I had a flat on my motorcycle and had to have it towed from downtown Vancouver to Maple ridge. The cost to have it towed was $419. My broker failed to tell me that the coverage would only cover $100. That being said when they contacted me and said my claim was being processed I thought that I was getting the full amount. I tried to get the name of a brokerage and their contact number that handles a specific strata and they told me that they cant give out that information. Like way to be accommodating to future owners of one of the units. I will be recommending that we switch insurers at the next AGM. I repeatedly asked the web chat person Laney to have someone call me asap and they wouldn't. That is some great customer service!!
