I am a shareholder at a building where the management company utilizes ClickPay and I've had to reach out to a customer service representative a few times. ClickPay is always polite, prompt with their replies, and answer my questions without needing a long explanation. The system is a bit basic but very easy to use.
I paid my maintenance fee twice yesterday, and I was prompted to cancel one payment. I did what I was suppose to do, and the payment was cancelled as requested. I also called to make sure that I do not get charged twice, and the person on the phone verified the cancellation of 1 payment. I read the previous bad reviews, and all I can say is that I did not have an issue with my problem. I made my maintenance payment last month. After 2 days I realized that my credit card was charged twice, so called the bank and the amount was credited to my account again. When I tried to pay the next month's fee, there was a note that my account was blocked due to a chargeback, which is a violation to click pay rules. I called to explain what happened, and they told me to call the building mgmt., which I did. I was told to call Clickpay, because nothing could be done from there end. The chargeback process is part of our terms and conditions, and is not allowed, if the resident wants to continue to pay with our system they would request a refund to right the mistake, reviewing a chargeback is an expensive and very time consuming process, as opposed to a refund, which is fairly easy, and of little cost..
