Excellent service. Took multiple float plane trips with Branch River to Katmai. During one trip we almost made it to Lake Brooks where we were supposed to land due to wind direction, but were turned back to King Salmon. A crazy weather system came in fast and all landings were cancelled. That day became so bad that some boats teathered to docks on The Naknek River flooded and sunk! We were back at our lodge by that time thanks to the amazing flying skills by our pilot. Safety is #1. You cannot complain about a cancelled trip... read more

We used Branch air to fly out to Katmai NP and a float/fishing trip to Kulik river. Excellent staff and pilots. Will use again.

Booked Branch River Air for our flight to Katmai. They were great to work with and made sure to fit our family of 5 in their Cub airplane. They picked us up in town and took us to their building. The flight there went great. On the way home they allowed us to change our pick up time and even though it was raining, windy, and low visibility we made it back safe. We were on the tarmac in Anchorage when we learned that our water taxi for a long-planned, highly anticipated *day trip* to Katmai had been canceled for the next day. We were devastated and panicked. Once on the ground in King Salmon, some warm-hearted locals working for a local commercial air carrier (can’t recall the company’s name!) called Katmai Air for us. No luck - they were booked.
