Worst lawyers I've ever dealt with. Unresponsive to our most basic requests for information about our case. Wouldn't return phone calls or emails. Incapable of sending our bills to the correct address. Secretary repeatedly misplaced critical information, without so much as an apology. If you're looking for decent legal representation, do not pick Branch & Hurtt. They are simply awful.
Please heed my warning and please don't hire any lawyers at this firm especially Thomas Weatherford, he is a liar and will only get your money and not work for you. I had a very bad experience here and something tells me that this is the way he operates. Please don't hire this firm , I'm only warning you based on experience . I would not want anyone to go through what me and my family went through!
Mr. Branch helped me with a probate. He was very professional and told me of the up front costs in advance. He told me the time frame of the case and he was pretty accurate. My case is finished but I told him my husband and I need to get wills prepared . He advised me to do Estate Planning or something like that so we will be returning to do this soon.
Thomas Weatherford estimated the cost of my uncontested divorce to be close to $1200, which I paid on the spot. After 26 days of not hearing anything from the lawyer's office, I called to see what the status was. Magically, the papers were delivered several days later to my ex to sign (Her name was mispelled.) I really dont know what any of these people are talking about. I went into this office in December and didnt catch that vibe at all. The front office staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. There was no cat that I saw that day or any of the other times I've been there. I met with the attorney he told me how much it was going to be. I paid. Im now divorced. Everything went well. I had no problems that these people talked about previously. I have sent some of my friends there for there law problems.
Do not use this law firm! I went here to file for a divorce. I went in for the inital consultation and thought they would start all the paperwork and get the divorce process started. They said it would take about 3 months, so a month later I called to see what the status was because I had never heard anything from them and they hadn't even started the process!
