Dear Consumer, I cannot attest to the quality of workmanship at this location. I personally never got my brakes done at Brakeway. I will tell you not to schedule your appointment ahead time and plan your day around that. I made a appointment at 11:00 showed up at 10:45. I personally did not believe that I would be next in line, but figured that I would be worked on with-in that hour. The nice lady behind the counter took my keys and told me, "We will eventually get to you," I asked what "Eventually" meant. She said sometime ... read more
I took both of my cars here, both were destroyed by these crooked sob's. Both had to be taken back and reworked, they rusted, overheated, and warped the front rotors. Had to have the calipers rebuilt again on 1st car and ended up with a $400 2 wheel brake job with rotors that can't be turned again. Took the 2nd car to a Honda dealer for a certified inspection before taking it back to this place. Beware! Don't bring your car here. I brought my car in because my brakes were making a noise. They told me that I need front and back brakes, new rotors and brake fluid and it was going to cost over $400.00. I picked up my car drove it over to Big O's in New Albany and they inspected it and told me I needed new brake pads on the front and the rotors were ok and it is only $139.00
Believe me. This place is the bomb. Dave's passion for mechanics shows when he thoroughly explains what your auto needed in terms of brake repair. It's comforting, not to mention edifying. Prices are fair and you get the feeling that he understands that it is not only thorough mechanics that will keep the customer, but genuine customer service. If you don't want to get screwed over, then come here.
Created a YP account just so that I could give this place a good review. The guys working are honest, reliable, do great work, and are very reasonably priced. Definitely will continue to go back here- and NOT to the dealership!
Great group of guys over at Brakes 4 Less. Went in pretty much riding on metal and expecting to pay a little shy of a grand (ouch!) for the work. Got in there, got my car up on the lifts, and they checked it over for free. Shortly after, they brought me out to see what was up and showed me specifically each issue and what symptoms it caused. Bad news: I needed a lot of work done. Good news: it cost me less than $300 total.
great place. called around and everywhere else wanted at least a couple hundred bucks if not more to replace all 4 brakes. i called these guys bc they advertised 88 bucks an axel so i figured that was much less than anywhere else and i was happy bc i was saving myself some money. when i got there and they redid all my brakes, my bill was less than 150. i guess if you get all 4 brakes done its only that much!!! very cool and i'm very happy. keep up the good work fellas!!!
Certainly a better-than-average shop. The customer service was great and my car was fixed quickly and efficiently. The bill wasn't too bad, either. I wasn't disappointed.
id be happy to take my car here again....guys were super nice to me and fixed my car for cheap
