You might think, “There’s no way a brake mechanic can be professional and leave me in a good mood,” but I dare you to give Paul and his team a chance. I dealt with a team of professionals at this Brake Check location. I didn’t catch every team member’s name, but as manager, Paul sets a great tone at the top for his employees, and you can tell by everyone’s demeanor that they follow his lead. The customer service at this location was excellent. They took my vehicle back immediately and serviced it. I would recommend to anyone!!
brought my 4runner in for a brake repair/replacement. very friendly service. they were clear with what was needed and quick to get the job done in about 1.5 hours for all 4 wheels. would definitely recommend. one thing to note is they don’t recommend resurfacing the rotors on 4runners here. i was told they don’t have the tooling to fit the rotors on their machine. had to replace rotors instead which was expensive but they were about ready to be replaced anyway. price was more than buying a full brake kit on amazon but comes ... read more

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, I visited Brake Check #526 at 1505 N. Loop W, location. I took my car in for brake repairs, with lug nuts that were originally manufactured to fit my car wheels, and my car was returned with smaller, old, used and cheaply made lug nuts!
