We purchased a Bradington Young wall hugger leather recliner from on June 19, 2021. In November 2021, 5 months after purchase, the leather appeared to be rubbing off. Bradington Young furniture is expensive furniture and we were disappointed to learn that the leather on a leather chair is not covered with warranty. Yes, we should have read the warranty closer, but one would think that a full leather piece of furniture would have some type of leather warranty. We bought a top grain leather Bradington-Young sofa for over $5000 that was supposed to be kiln dried, and 8 way hand tied. The leather wore terribly within the first year and has only gotten worse. The furniture dealer told me that some wear was normal, but the seat cushions look as if it was cheap bonded leather and has completed rubbed off. That dealer is now out of business. We bought a very expensive Bradington Young leather, swivel recliner. It was custom made to our color specifications. The recliner on the furniture store floor was so beautiful and comfortable that we decided on it against a fabric recliner. It took almost 10 weeks to get it and when it was delivered it was overly stuffed. When we sit in it, it throws your neck and body forward instead of relaxing in it. I bought a set from carolina r******s in july of 2017 and had to get 1 new recliner in which the co warrantied after complaining for 2 months. the leather was not streched and the dye was spider webbing and the company finally conceded and sent a new recliner. Now i have the dye wearing off 1 cushion and contacted both the company and the retailer and this is the exact words that were sent back : Hi Mr ****** The color wearing off the seat, is not a defect.
