I am brand new to the site first time on it this Sunday evening. I am appalled at how much there is to make contributions to Boys Town. Every 10 seconds or so I get a pop-up wanting me to donate $60. I don’t respond second later it pops up asking for $25. I don’t think that’s what father Flanagan wanted professionals to do. This is a terrible place to have your children, the kids have no freedom no one to talk to and also no one to listen to their cries. It is also very sexist and males are treated with more respect than females DCF send kids here and gives up on them. As a parent would you send your child here??

I was here for 211 days spanning from October of 2014 until May 2015. During my stay here, I was bullied, had my stuff stolen on multiple occasions from other kids, and belittled by the staff like I’m 6 even though I was 14. I had a kid break a gift I had gotten from family. When I told the house parents, the kid found out and got the rest of the kids in the group home to jump me in the middle of the night. Absolutely garbage. I went here a few years ago and got a mid therapist who was extremely hyper and didn't understand me. I come a few years later and I get a terrible therapist who is rude and doesn't even give scientifically factual advice. I wish I could rate this place 0 stars.
