The staff are amazing
I’m gonna be completely honest, I was a kid who attended the program and someone who still actively does theatre through the amato center. The club doesn’t have a good staff:kid ratio, I often was able to leave without being noticed. It was run by a bunch of teen-college age people when I went. The amato center is amazing, love them and their the only reason I didn’t put a one star review.
My 5 year old daughter loves it. They have been super accommodating. The counselors are wonderful and willing to communicate. I can't help but feel that the negative reviews are people who don't take the time to actually engage with them. This place is wonderful for after school and summer camp.
Our kids (and sometimes me too!) are heavily involved in the theater program at the Boys and Girls Club. It's an amazing inclusive environment that has helped my children learn and grow in so many ways and we are so grateful for our "home away from home!"
