I’ll begin by saying that I support the mission of Scouting wholeheartedly. My son has achieved the rank of Star, in his 8th year of Scouting, and is committed to earning his Eagle rank. That said, if BSA is going to monopolize access to BSA-required gear and materials in local scout shops, perhaps they might consider having said shops be open during any hours in which a respectable, gainfully-employed human being can actually come in.
