I have purchased gifts online for family who live out of state but this was my first time actually going into the store. The customer service was excellent and the items were uniquely "Maine." Loved it and definitely recommend stopping in for Maine items all in one spot! The pumpkin whooping pie and glass bottle of Moxie was perfection!!
My daughter loves Whoopie Pie Cookies. We are from Ohio and when we planned an east coast trip her goal was to find a great one (because I make great ones). She has tried everywhere she goes if they have them and is never satisfied, but she was sure she would find a great one in Maine. Moved to Texas from the Lake Champlain area 11 years ago and the one thing my family has always missed most is the Humpty Dumpty chips! For my mom’s birthday I ordered her some bags. Fedex delayed the expedited shipping by a day so Box of Maine is helping me get a refund on the shipping. The man over the phone was very prompt and helpful. We got our bags fully intact, nice and fresh! Definitely going to place another order next time we want to splurge a little!
The guy who talked with us was very friendly. While they didn't have the hard maple candies I was looking for, I did pick up a cute lobster magnet and some other items. The guy took time to look up the candies to see where he might purchase them in the future. Their website is awesome to purchase Maine items and have them shipped.
