We were so excited to ride the ROAM transit in Banff and were grateful for this local public bus services until our most recent experience with Route 2. On our way back from the Banff Springs Hotel around 3:50pm, while we were boarding the route 2, the ROAM transit app was not displaying the ticket details. And the bus driver were asking me to discharge the tickets before boarding. ROAM was a lifesaver on our trip to Banff! We used the bus services to get up and down Banff Ave for dinner, and to get to and from Johnston Canyon to avoid having to park. The buses are clean and spacious. I do wish that they ran the local lines later - we were stuck having to walk two nights after later dinners, and had to walk back to the hotel at ~9:30.

Showed the bus driver my ticket,no destination listed on bus,he failed to mention that the bus was going to a different park and ride than listed on my ticket. They dropped my family off 50 kilometers from our car and said there were no more shuttles today. We hitch hiked with a lovely couple after they saw us on the highway trying to cross an electrified cattle gate to walk the 56 minutes to the next shuttle stop.
