The driver at 9:20 bus today from Canmore to Banff was absolutely rude and misbehaving . I told him I have a monthly bus pass but my phone is broken and is with apple for repair and showed him email but he still didn't let me in. I told him I have the monthly pass and showed him email too . Really disappointed
The convenience and logistics of this service are fantastic! However, one of the staff made the experience anything but pleasant. While awaiting the 2:27 pm boarding time on 9/24 at the Banff High School 8X stop for Lake Louise, my 10-year old needed to use the restroom. Considering this is a 1-hour drive, we sprinted to the public washrooms a few yards away. IRENE HEIM. UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, HARASSING, AND RACIST. A male attendant initially confirmed our arrival and assured us we had plenty of time when we asked if we could quickly use the restroom. Yet when we returned with 18 minutes still remaining, another attendant, Irene Heim, immediately raised her voice at us, accusing us of being late. Experience was wonderful. Buses on time, drivers helpful. Lost an item ini bus and it was packed and left at the visitors station to pick up. Amazing customer service in finding the item and holding onto it. Plus grea value to avoid all the parking hassles. Makes Banff easier to navigate.
We were so excited to ride the ROAM transit in Banff and were grateful for this local public bus services until our most recent experience with Route 2. On our way back from the Banff Springs Hotel around 3:50pm, while we were boarding the route 2, the ROAM transit app was not displaying the ticket details. And the bus driver were asking me to discharge the tickets before boarding.
