These tamales are fantastic!! My father and I agreed to trade some work on Connie and Eduardo's car for several dozen tamales and what a great trade it was!! I can't wait to stock up my freezer with tamale goodness. Thanks again!!
These tamales are the best I've ever eaten. Would give 6 stars if I could.
Their tamales are organic. In the regular tamales, the oil used is olive oil. They are totally delicious, and are also very filling. There are several varieties - I love the vegetarian black bean ones. They also have Chicken Mole, and several others. Edwuardo and Connie, the owners, will modify the tamales to your dietary needs if you make a larger order. There are also desert tamales! Apple nut and peach ginger!
Ordered pork and chicken tamales from Amaizing Corn at the Boulder Farmer's Market today and they were far from amazing. Each tamale consisted of at least 90% slimy dense masa with 'innards' consisting of corn kernels mixed with a few smears of indistinquishable shredded meat. The unexpected 2" tube of either chicken intestine or a vein elevated this dish to spectacularly gag-worthy. At $11 a meal, even the mystery gizzard couldn't sway me to return!
