We and all our guests absolutely loved the band! We've had a lot of compliments from guests about how good they sounded and how much energy they had. I was dancing all night so thats a very good sign!!! DJ was also fantastic and all in all it was just a really great time

Where do we start, ?? We saw Boujee music at the wedding show, and really liked there vibe, we then went on to see them at one of there free presentation evenings, and decided to book uptown showdown, a six piece ( 4 instruments and 2 singers ) for our upcoming wedding, and wow, what a wedding it was, we only had 27 guests, but the band was so good… that everyone just kept dancing all night, the band even thanked us for being such a fantastic group to play to, but it was them that kept everything going, there amazing musicia... read more

We loved it all, a super energised dance floor. Your lead singer and his crowd participation was second to none! We just didn’t want it to end! We’ve had several people asking for the contact which we’ve passed on. Truly, truly superb. Thank you for everything.

We loved Uptown Showdown — if you’re looking for am entertaining band with big tunes and incredibly talented musicians, don’t look anywhere else. We booked them for a wedding party and highly recommend!!

The musicians are absolutely 5 star - I could not speak more highly of their talent and and energy!! People are still talking about our band! However, to be balanced we had booked a DJ package only to find out at 5/6pm on our wedding day that the DJ was no longer attending inbetween band sets due to illness. Understand these things happen, but we would have appreciated the heads up in the morning when they learned of the illness (as discussed with boujee music) so we could come up with a plan (playing our playlist wouldn’t h... read more
