The Y has many ways and programs to keep one active. Their staff is very helpful and friendly.
The facility is clean and well-maintained, but the overall environment doesn’t feel very welcoming. Some staff—particularly younger employees or those connected to local families—seem to operate with different expectations depending on who you are. There appears to be a strong clique dynamic, and if you’re not part of it, the experience can feel inconsistent. Based on my experience, it also doesn’t feel like concerns would be addressed effectively. This is just my personal opinion, and others may have a different experience.
