Delicious chef-prepared meals, managers live on premises, guarded area, fitness room, pool, travel programs, weekly housekeeping and linen service and more. The apartments are spacious and have lots of windows for lighting. Nice place to live.
Stay Away! Vista de la Montana of Surprise, Arizona perpetrates abuse of seniors. The management lures frail and gullible elderly and disabled persons into signing up to live here with the promise of receiving over $1,000 per month of VA Aid & Attendance benefits. Senior Hell on Earth I am so glad that person in the previous review had a pleasant experiance it is rare though. Columbus Estates treats their residents as less than human. Geat My mother is a resident at this facility and loves it. They have live in managers which she can go to anytime she needs something, they have three meals a day prepared for them, activties that she enjoys, they go on field trips too. This has been a blessing for my family and i strongly recommend this facitly to anyone.
Cowhorn Creek Estates is wonderful! I hear this is a top notch place and found out first hand it really is true! They staff is awesome and make sure you have everything you need. Rates are affordable and they do accept insurance!

English? Okay, this restaurant was your run of the mill mom and pop place. Unfortunately though, they do not speak so much English there. I mean that shuold have been expected, but the language abrrier was too much for me.
Nice retirement village Before my great grandmother had to go live at a nursing home, she lived at Columbus Estates Retirement Village. This is NOT a nursing home, you have to be able to take care of yourself to live here but it is assisted living where they provide all your meals and they come in a vacuum your room once a week. Feels like home... We have been looking for a nice place for my in-laws to retire. After touring several facilities, we all agreed on Gracious Independent Living. They offer so many ammenities that my in-laws didn't feel like they were in an assisted facility. They are very happy here and feel that the staff is more like family. We are under less stress knowing they are well taken care of and have all of their needs right at their fingertips.
