Sonia is an amazing artist who beautifully captured my dog, Mia, based on a picture I provided. Mia passed away a few months after the painting was completed, so I will forever cherish this priceless work of art as a means to remember her. Sonia’s ability to depict my dog’s personality and temperament is a true testament to her skills! She even had to improvise a bit due to a problem my dog developed with one of her eyes later in life, and had to “add” an eye to the portrait based on other photos I provided. AMAZING! Sonia captured the spirit and essence of Ginger, our treasured pooch that is no longer with us. We miss her everyday and having her beautiful portrait keeps her active in our memory and heart.

Posing for a portrait can be a daunting experience, particularly if it will be hung in a public space. Sonia made every step easy, and was a pleasure to work with. I was extremely pleased with the result. Many folks have commented that her portrait is so lifelike, it almost looks like a photograph!
