great yarn selection, although quick to help white customers but not POC. POC customers (myself included) did not feel welcomed, no one asked us if we needed help until after 15-20 mins in the store, despite white people walking in and being greeted immediately and offered assistance. shop was also not that busy when we came in. disappointing but not surprising since it’s boston and most yarn stores are white owned and operated
Wonderful local yarn store. I love the community events and classes. To find the front door, it's down stairs or a ramp from the street level walking path.
Coming from an area where I don't have any local yarn shops to support, this was a lovely experience! The vibe was similar to watching a friends episode and the gang chilling in the coffee shop. Nice to hear people talking about WIPs, what they made, and having knowledgeable employees! Definitely a place I'll stop at again when in the area.
Kind people and a welcoming community at events. Highly recommend stopping by, whether you’re new to fiber arts or a maste!
Ellis was extremely helpful!! They showed me different weights and blends, helping me ultimately decide on a few skeins! I would’ve gotten more had i more room in my suitcase. Overall a great store with lovely customer service.
