I recently went to family court and got child support papers to serve on my dead beat ex husband, I told them that he will not answer the door and will be difficult, they asked for a picture which I emailed to them and 2 days later I received a call and email that my paper was served!!
Do not waste $90! Borowide also has an office at 60 Bay Street, which is two blocks from Family Court on Staten Island. I had to serve an Order of Protection, which must be hand-served at least 5 days before the court date. They had my court documents for 9 days and never communicated with me ONCE for an update. I HAD TO CALL THEM (on the 5-day deadline) in order to get an update. They "claimed" they made several attempts, but I seriously doubt it.
