I recently got some Firestix from Boreal Heartland. They are used to help starting fires. I tried them in my wood stoves as I ran out of kindling and they are awesome. I used a small piece (about 1/4 pack) placed it Uber some paper and put some wood on top. It lit up easily and stayed burning long after the paper had burned to ash. This makes it so much easier to start a fire.
