One of the all time great San Francisco Bay Area old school bread bakeries. I remember Larabarue, Parisienne, Colombo and Boudin, but Bordenave's was hands down my favorite all time bread bakery. The bread would come still warm to our local market. We could not go a day without that delicious bread. I am so glad the quality remains..
I've got to visit Bordenave's at least once a week. The bread is so fresh it's hard to drive by without stopping in. If you get some day old bread also, you can walk out with bags of great sourdough for under 5 bucks.
