Not sure where to start, got to my appointment on time, struggled up the stairs, optician looked surprised when I said I was disabled, it’s been on my boots file since the late nineties, multiple tests, waited 30 minutes for fitter only to be told I’d have to wait longer, I walked, I won’t be back.
Molly answered the phone when I called to make appointments and again when I called to change one of them. She was brilliant when I spoke to her on the phone and in person, made me feel welcome and that I was no bother even though I was being complicated! The young man who did the pre check (forgot his name but dark hair and beard) was also welcoming, very informative about what he was doing and what it all meant, made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Emergency visit for red eyes, within 2 hours of phoning. Eye tests carried out swiftly, and consultation with the optician possessing natural empathy. Providing a complete physical eye check up, and explanation tbroughout, with a friendly attitude. Explaining in crystal clear english the problem, treatment, and eye health care. Perfect.
Can’t thank the team at boots enough (especially Molly) for all their help and support with my son’s glasses. Molly is amazing with the children and always so helpful. Thank you so much!
