Great shop for all of your local needs! The whole crew is friendly, attentive, and they know their stuff. If you’ve got a kid in hockey, they also offer stick tape, clear tape, and skate sharpening to name a few necessities. Love going to Bootleggers!
This guy was insane. He acts like His bikes are the only e bikes you can use on earth and they every other kind is unusable and not going to last or work. And these bikes were $2000 and the only ones with fatter tires....the cheapest one he had was like $1200 And it was a joke. I got a fricken 700-800$ bike about 7-8 years ago and it worked like a miracle and this guy acted like it was impossible to find any bike that works besides his, oh let me clarify "any bike under $1000. I've purchased two bikes, a set of bike wheels and a bunch of small consumable parts such as tubes and sealant from here. Every time I have been in the store I've been met with great service. I've seen people come into the store when I was in there that obviously knew nothing about bikes. The employees were super nice and didn't try to up-sell them on anything and told them they didn't need to be spending extra money on a few features/upgrades.
I had an issue with my Bike Friday as I was at the tail end of my tour from Albany to Canada. They were super helpful and even called Bike Friday to get an answer to a question about the e-bike part of the bike! They went above and beyond to help make my trip a success. Couldn’t thank them enough! (And they have great gear- I bought a voile strap off them while I was waiting!). If you have an issue, I can guarantee that they will work hard to solve it for you!
