I have asked numerous times to be sent a statement showing what I have paid and what I still owe. I keep track of it but would like something from them in writing. Never a response at all and not once have I even gotten a receipt so be sure to screenshot if you pay online.
I call to settle and they lie to me on the phone telling me since a garnishment (that came out of nowhere with no actual fair warning) is in effect they cannot settle (mind you they even tried to charge me MORE than what my garnishment total is). I go to the courthouse as they instructed and they can't help me either but tge courthouse informed me that I am definitely able to settle it even though a garnishment is in place by reaching back out to the lawfirm.
