My fiance and I traveled to Taos Ski Valley last week and we decided that we wanted to FINALLY purchase our own ski boots. We worked with a couple of their staff members, Patrick and Margie, and they were fabulous. Super knowledgeable, very friendly and overall just great. Had the best time at Bootdoctors in Taos today! I purchased a pair of custom fit boots as well as new skis/bindings and couldn’t have been happier with my experience. During a visit to the shop earlier this fall, Charlie recommended that I come back for some custom boots, and I’m so glad I did! After running laps for 2 hours on Chair 4, I’m LOVING the new gear set up Robbie and the team at Big Kahuna Bootdoctors (Taos Ski Valley) hooked me up with this morning. Robbie and the team were awesome - knowledgeable, full service, and quick. I got new boots, custom soles, a legit pair of ski socks (my feet get cold easily), and a trial pair of Dynastars to run laps all day in an hour. If you are skiing Taos, swing by Bootdoctors and step up your ski gear!

Had an awesome experience buying my first pair of ski boots. Worked with Tyler as my doctor and then Bill worked with my skis to adjust the bindings to fit the new boots. Everyone in the store was super welcoming and warm and extremely knowledgeable. They definitely have a science of boot fitting and I left with ski boots that were more comfortable than I thought was possible. No upselling, awesome staff, highly recommend. (P.S. I visited the location at Taos Ski Valley and can’t say enough about the customer service I received from the staff. Margie was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions to help me get fitted for a pair of boots to fit my own needs. She also had great tips on ski socks and after measuring my feet pointed out that my rental boots were a full size too big. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to up their ski game and invest in some quality boots that will last.
