My fiance and I traveled to Taos Ski Valley last week and we decided that we wanted to FINALLY purchase our own ski boots. We worked with a couple of their staff members, Patrick and Margie, and they were fabulous. Super knowledgeable, very friendly and overall just great. We had the best experience getting new boots for my husband and myself. Robby was so knowledgeable and helped answer all our questions, and then some. We will absolutely be back if we need a tune up! But I expect to be happily skiing in these new boots for years to come.
After running laps for 2 hours on Chair 4, I’m LOVING the new gear set up Robbie and the team at Big Kahuna Bootdoctors (Taos Ski Valley) hooked me up with this morning. Robbie and the team were awesome - knowledgeable, full service, and quick. I got new boots, custom soles, a legit pair of ski socks (my feet get cold easily), and a trial pair of Dynastars to run laps all day in an hour. If you are skiing Taos, swing by Bootdoctors and step up your ski gear!
I had such an amazing experience here that it deserves a review. My snowboard boots had been causing severe toe pain for over a year, and I even lost a toenail last season. I came in twice, and Ian (the manager) went above and beyond. On my second visit he custom fixed my liner and added a heel lift that completely solved the problem. Best place to buy ski boots and ski equipment!!! Hands down!!! The staff there are terrific and the prices are affordable given the service provided!
