I do not recommend Book Keeping and Beyond (BKBY) based in Texas. I was referred to them, and while they did a decent job in the beginning, that changed dramatically a couple of years ago. Since then, it’s been a steady decline. For over a year, I’ve been battling with BKBY just to get my taxes completed—while paying nearly $1,200/month to them. I used this service for a couple of years. I noticed in March 2025 that nothing had been done on my account in 3 months and year end 2024 had not been completed. I reached out to the owner, Sandra Medrano, to the main email, info@bkby, called and left several messages on a recorded line (no one ever answers the phone). I didn't receive a response for several weeks after repeated efforts. I was told the person who worked on my account left in early January 2025 and my account had basically not been reassigned. This company has been a nightmare. I posted a negative review previously and they begged us to take it down. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. After a botched onboarding process, personnel changes and the bookkeeper moving in the middle of the process it took them 6 months to produce P&Ls. This would have been frustrating but not a huge issue except they missed the tax deadlines and caused us to incur a penalty.
