Bonhams, an English auction house on West 57th Street was showcasing Diane Keaton, The Architecture of an Icon. This was worth seeing as all her possessions in the form of clothes, jewelry, accessories, furniture and collages were on display. One could touch the clothes - many of which were in black or polka dots of white and black. Diane Keaton's hats were stylish. Won an item for a couple of grand. Already knew I was gonna get hit with a 28% Buyers Premium as that was advertised in advance. So no foul there. They charged me NYC Sales Tax even though I dont live in New York at all. Then they wanted to charge me $350 to send an item that should cost around $30 to ship plus $25 Insurance. I complained to customer service. They told me I should expect an email from them the same day with a list of other 3rd party shippers so I could try to get a better price.
