My father moved to Bonaventure after two years at another ALF. The difference was remarkable. Smiling, caring and attentive staff. MUCH better food and a salad bar! A bigger, more modern apartment. Responsive management. Maintenance staff that went above and beyond at move-in time (TV hookups, modifying doors for wheelchair). Activities GALORE. On-site resident available laundry room. This facility operates with no dedictaed RN and has had no full time nurse coverage since August of 2024. Before making any decisions about placing your loved one here, I strongly recommend reviewing the state surveys. This facility has gone almost a full year without a registered nurse (RN) on staff, which speaks volumes about their commitment to quality care. Tour the community and was very pleased until we returned to sign paperwork and saw the Executive Director, Jen, smoking pot in the parking lot.
