RecommendedAwesome Indian grocery store!! I get my Indian cooking spices & curry there.. Many types of rice & lentils.. There are many premade samosas in the freezer section.. I buy many boxes & bags of the difference varieties... I love this place.. it's the real deal...
Only option for Indian Items in Arlington
We have been shopping this store for three decades, through all the various owners. These owners have cleaned up the shop and made it shopper friendly. Although the produce area is small the variety is terrific and fresh. Frozen foods has a good variety BUT nothing is organic and all the products contain wheat . This is an excellent vegetarian grocery store with nicely organized sales racks, well-priced samosas, and friendly staff.
It's got a very good selection of Indian assortments and condiments. Frozen Idlies, dosas and chappathis, ready made batter, ready made mtr mixes,indian brand oils, rice etc. Just don't ever but the stuff they have on sale, EVER! Their sales stuff is always only and terrible
I recommend all, not to buy anything from here. Out of 6 products which i bought 2 were expired almost an year ago. I can understand if it was expired by a few days, even a week maybe, but an entire year? I shouldn't go into a store like that and expect to have to check for things like that. Without the customer, they won't be successful, so they should be making the shopper's experience convenient and worry-free. That's just what I expect.
Bombay Bazaar Bombay is a great store for the unusal gifts and old world charm. The merchandise is a bit expensive but for something that you really want its fun to splurge.
