Very disappointed to hear about what this place has become. Not sure if no one has training, or what, but allowing people to steal MEDICATIONS from other DV survivors and then doing absolutely nothing is just allowing abuse to happen all over again. Just because it's not physical doesn't mean it's not abuse. There should be a zero tolerance policy for theft, but... Very disappointing, had a cab bring me down from another city and got turn away.And the boss lady did not won't me waiting on their property for another cab to pick me up. This person acted like she had no heart, nor feelings. I had to go to a church down the street to wait on my cab. I could not believe what I was going through. I had heavy luggage's toting it down the street. That was very humiliating. Who does that?

They racist as hell if you’re black they’ll tell you that they have no room. They turned my cousin and her three small children around at 2:00 am fresh off the highway from Milwaukee when she was escaping from her abuser. Told her they had no room but actually had availability. I guess you have to put your trauma on hold or get killed by returning to your abuser.

The staff here are extremely caring and supportive, I relocated from a different state and was terrified but with their support I was able to overcome my fear.
