I feel I wasn’t properly prepared for what I went through involving my divorce and for what was going to come after. Let me tell you, I’m paying for it 3 years later. Financially and emotionally. I have filed a formal complaint with the Texas Bar. It has been 6 months and she STILL has not returned my remaining retainer or sent me my file, both of which are required. She took forever to finish the work (months and months), her work product was ok, but the biggest issue is how she played bait-and-switch on the cost. Once she had my retainer, suddenly I wasn't worth her time and it was pulling teeth getting her to respond. The total was way more than we discussed.
