Let me start by saying, I don't typically leave reviews, good or bad, unless I am super thrilled with something! First time at this particular spa, I have had MANY massages in my life, but hadn't had one in awhile. I had a gift card, so I went for it.... First, JOE, amazing! Been there multiple times through pregnancy, postpartum and CrossFit comps. I’ve worked with Meg and Joe. Go to Meg if you like to chat & Joe if you want to sleep! Love them both. Always feel so much better afterwards.
On vacation, I decided to take a little time for self care. A quick Google search and hours of reading reviews, I settled on Bodyworks. I'm certainly glad I did. Joe was fantastic. It has been roughly a decade since I've practiced massage, and I do not like to divulge that I have. It tends to either make the practitioner nervous or overzealous. The deep tissue was exactly as it should be, relaxing, but getting straight to the point, to where you weren't quite lulled to sleep, but that deep relaxation between sleep and wake. ... read more
