Kris referred to himself as an acupuncturist and massage therapist. Massage therapist is a protected term and you have to be licensed to use it, or the term bodywork, in North Carolina. He has never held a massage license in NC. But he referenced being a massage therapist and had "LMT" on his marketing materials. LMBT would have been the correct term. RecommendedKris is wonderful and very knowledgeable!! I have si joint issues along with a herniated disk and this has helped me the most out of everything I’ve tried!! I highly recommend everyone trying this if you have pain issues‼️
After two years of physical therapy and chiropractic care and back surgery I still had severe back pain. A friend introduced me to Kris Petersen and Bodytech Acupuncture & Massage and after my first treatment I felt like a new person.The pain in my back was greatly diminished. I was able to walk without pain for the first time in a very long time. Kris is amazing. I wish I had seen him right from the beginning. Give him a try, you won’t regret it.
Kris is amazing! I have had acupuncture in the past and have to say hands down he is the best! I have no pain and more movement in my neck. I would recommend him to anyone, he is the real deal. Grateful our paths crossed and will be back again for future treatments.
My fiance and I recently had acupuncture massages with Kris. it wss a wonderful experience in which Kris went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with all that was happening and understood every step he was taking. We both left in the best moods and haven't stopped talking about our wonderful experience.

Kris is a super great guy and loves what he does. He is knowledgeable and made me completely comfortable trying acupuncture. It didn’t hurt and was very effective at relieving muscle knots and tension from overuse.
This was my first acupuncture experience and definitely won't be my last! Kris was awesome and extremely knowledgeable. I went in with tight shoulders, back pain, and wrist pain. During the acupuncture I literally felt the tension pour out of my body, it was pretty amazing. Four days later and I still feel better than ever. No massage or chiropractor has ever had this kind of impact. I highly recommend anyone go see Kris!
