I’ve now had two massages with Ted, and both have been absolutely outstanding. During my most recent session, I mentioned some hip imbalance and suspected I might need psoas work. Ted immediately understood what I meant and got deep into the muscles that have felt locked up for ages. His pressure is strong, precise, and highly effective. I walked out feeling balanced, looser, and genuinely relieved. Highly recommend Ted if you’re looking for deep, therapeutic bodywork. I’m already looking forward to my next massage with him.

My husband and I went for deep tissue massages for our anniversary. We had Nina and Katie who were absolutely professional and warm. I’ve had many massages before and Nina who worked on me applied the exact pressure I needed and worked all my knots out! My husband said Katie was excellent and he feels much better after. I don’t love writing negative reviews, particularly for a small local business, but unfortunately the owner never returned my voicemail requesting to privately discuss issues my husband and I have both experienced here, specifically an egregious one recently. I’ve been getting massages for approximately 20 years, monthly for about 15, and I’ve been to nearly every local place in NEPA when my regular massage therapist, who has since left the profession, was booked up. This locally owned massage shop is a great deal and I stop by whenever I’m in town. The 90 minute massages are worth the price and I have not had a bad massage from the numerous people who work here. I would recommend Body and Soul to people who have sports related injuries and who are seeking a massage beyond relaxation.
