Catherine provided an amazing recovery for my TKR (Total Knee Replacement). Dr Gordan was extremely happy with my progress. I was on the mini bike the third day, and back to tennis after two months. If possible, I suggest that you start working with your PT before your surgery to strengthen the correct muscles.
