We just got these lovable chicks from Bobs Biddies. And they are wonderful. On top of that Diane is great! with her knowledge and advice. We are super lucky to have her at the local level,great family to be dealing with our new chicken adventure. Update as we agian need chickens still place where u can get the best chickens no GMO no Chemicals just pure chickens
I got 5 novogen brown chickens from this place back in 2022, when I was much more naive and young. All of them have died from egg yolk peritonitis, with most of them dying in the first 2 years. Do not get any hybrid chickens from here. I loved these chickens with all my heart and they had a whole half acre to themselves to graze and were given high quality organic feed, but the egg laying is just too rough on them. Stick to traditional breeds of chickens if you care about their quality of life.
If I could go be a zero, it would be overrated. Drove all the way to Rays, GA for 25 chicks. Directions not clear. Signage in a different yard. We had to find our way around to locate the hatchery. Friend had ordered 20 chicks. 2 of the chicks died within a week, they were in very poor condition, very hunger and thirsty. We could not see inside any of the buildings to pick our own, she just loaded up a box and thrust them through the window of our car. I asked for 5 Easter Eggers. Horrible waste of money. Got 30 chicks. They stunk like something died and sat in the hot sun for a month. Not how chicks are supposed to smell. The chicks are dying off one by one. We give them high protein food and lots of water so not our fault. Will nevee order from them again. I hope they get shut down!
They are wonderful people. Very useful information when we started buying chickens. Her husband very kind soul.
