Bob's discout furniture I was pleasantly surprised to find a leather set I really liked and was not cheap. There are a few very nice sets if you look. We have had our set for 1 month and love it. The leather is thick and butter soft. The delivery guys were very quick and professional too.
Cheap If the ads on television doesn't stop you from going to this store. Know that the store carries furniture that is as cheap as the tv ads. I really do not like this stuff.
Bobs Furniture has a BIG GIMMICK On Aug. 20, 2008 I helped my daughter purchase her first piece of furniture. I advised her to buy from Bobs after watching his ads and knowing that his prices were reasonable and supposedly he stands behind what he sells. She chose a sectional. apparently didn't want the sale We shopped in the store and settled on something. To get a delayed payment, we applied for their financing. It took forever, then she came and just said you were denied and walked away! I don't know what kind of glitch occured, but we had 5 charge cards that we could have used to do the deal instead. Terrible double charge experience and bad Manager at Bob's Yonkers So I bought this furniture for close to a thousand dollars and paid with my debit card. Bob's Yonkers charged me twice for that amount. The amount wiped out the credit I had in my account and threw me into overdraft. Did not realize this until my card got turned down at the grocery store. For days I waited to be refunded as the Yonkers staff I spoke to had promised - no show. Disappointing From the products to the customer service, this is the most disappointing shopping experience I have ever had! Three chairs broke one after another. Each chair took two days of waiting for service . Six days in total. First day they must come look at it. Second visit is about a week later, they replace it For it to break again in 2 months
good deals If you are willing to ignore a few scratches on the furniture then you can make a great purchase in the basement of the store. With small energetic kids, it is a great place to buy furniture.
Ridiculous service! Ok so my mom and I went to buy a living room set, we bought it, we were satisfied with the price and the furniture, but when delivery time came also came hell...the guys who came deliver the furniture supposedly couldn't get it pass the door! this is ridiculous since they had already passed one door that was the same size. they just barely placed it over the second door and told us it just wouldn't fit. Not A Happy Shopper I don't even know where to start!!! We purchased a sofa a couple yrs. ago w/the goof proof (now called guardsman)plan. Anyways, we got a tear in our sofa from the dog and they came to assess the damage. We recieved the wrong color/size cover not once but twice! I am going down to the store today which is 1/2 hr from here to clarify this. I also got a dresser for my daughter's room from the pit. The dresser has a nasty odor that makes ALL of her clothing smell like puke!!
