I’ve being using Boats and Motors for 25+ years. They cared for and repaired my 8hp Nissan ou board until it was no longer worth repairing, at 33 years old. They sold me a used dingy engine which I’ve used for years. Recently, they helped me purchase a new Tohatsu MFS 9.8 hp outboard and a 2.3 hp Honda dingy outboard. The owner of this place is despicable, rude and condescending. I bought an outboard in 2018 and I have been bringing it to them every winter for service. Every single time without missing a beat I get a lecture about what people do and don’t with their outboards and how everybody is stupid (except for him). I can imagine that for him, outboards are the center of the universe but for God’s sake, it’s just outboards… I ordered a part ($20 I believe) from another Tohatsu dealer because I was out of state and it was more conveni... read more
