I stopped in Publix today to buy roast beef for my dog to hide his allergy meds in. Sadly it’s $18.00, but my dog is worth it. I asked if it was lean as there has been a lot of fat on it. No, they can’t trim boarshead meats. Oh, I said I would pay for it I just didn’t want to have to trim it at my home, nit for $18.00. Their rep stepped up and said they trim all their meats. Fantastic product with a very unique and surprising amount of choices. They are the kings of the deli world. Their food tastes so freaking good compared to others deli products out there. I have fridge stocked every week and I'm yet to be tired of them. They do more than just meats and cheeses btw.

I wonder how much Boar's Head Provisions Co, Inc. misses my purchases following the deaths of people dying from Wisteria. I see they Publix continue prominently place Boar's Head displays. Anybody really care that people died eating their products?

I'm a hot dog connoisseur and long time consumer of the world class Boars Head Beef Frankfurters. I was devastated when I found out they had be 'temporarily' unavailable due to the listeria outbreak at their production facility last summer. A year later I still could not find them anywhere and contacted them for assistance. Kudos to Dave in Customer Service who spent a lot of time and emails answering my questions, resulting in identifying those great dogs a short drive from where I live. Great product, Great Service!
